Kingdom ledger info screen question

I was just looking at the ledger reports on the other kingdomes to see what info would be shown before i met anyone. I am currently playing a large map with all champion ai with normal resources and magic with the monsters turned up. I will note i did not see a way to increase the number of available quests in the game, oh well. However on the screen that reports your progress towards winning, i saw it shows how many tunrs have passed in the game. Does it show a 1000 turn limit to the game ? I am not sure if i am reading that right.

That is correct, there is a turn limit. Just like there is one in Civilization. The game doesn't stop at that time, but your score will be frozen. This is to make highscores more meaningfull, or somthing like that.

Funny, I always thought turnlimits were a rubbish idea!
Whenever I play civilization, I always turn them off when possible, they're terrible!

Oh. It's a scoring thing lol.

I was fearful it was going to make BAD things happen, randomo disaters, sudden spawning of wildlands in the middle of your kingdom, that sort of thing...
