[0912] Occupation Penalty upon loading a savegame from a previous version

So I load a savegame from 091... and suddenly, my production is dead in the water, from 47 to 17 in a city at the same tax rate. If I pop tax from normal to high my production drops to 0.

 

I went through my city details and it says I have a 49% occupation penalty to happyness. Tsk tsk!

You cannot expect things to work across versions. I always start a new game when I have downloaded an update. They change a lot of small stuff each version.

What joasoze said. Saved games are not compatible with different game versions. Only very rarely is this the case, and they always say so then.

In case you failed to notice, I'm not really bothered by this, but found it amusing. Normally I reboot too, but I was in such an interesting position in that game I wanted to continue. Of course, being at war and all, my position just got more interesting. I like a good scrap.
