[0.91 BUG] Unit spontaneously "dying" in his first turn of a tactical battle

Ok, this weird bug has occured to me a couple of times now. I've had a unit spontaneously "dying" at the start of its first turn in tactical combat, but he's not really dead. You'll hear the units death sound and the unit disappears from the screen, the tile the unit was on is then the "active tile" and in the lower left hand corner you'll see the units portrait and stats, you can move the invisable unit, but then the next action (e.g. an attack or spell) won't work.

Basicly the battle is stuck there, skip turn doesn't work either. The only way to end the battle is to use the auto-resolve button. I had a save game from just before the battle and when I reloaded it had the same issue, so not sure what's happening there. Unfortunately I've overwritten the save file, but if it does happen again I'll keep the save file.

Did anyone else experience this?

I've had the same issue.  Just started this morning.  Every battle the first unit (which is always a hero) dies.  Not sure what to do about it.  Reloading didn't work.  Game breaker for the most part if my most powerful unit dies in every battle before he's even able to do anything not to mention no exp.  It seems random whether he receives a wound or not.
