[BUG][.91]Quest: Arena of the Slakhanan

Still not getting Heartseeker after the Arena of the Slakhanan quest.  Got a bunch of other stuff, including Curgen's Hammer at the end.  But no Heartseeker. FYI.  I checked immediately after the event and again a few turns later.  A few notes:  I'm never presented with a standard item window giving me the option to "OK" or "Equip" Heartseeker.  It is never even mentioned except on the screen where the Arena guy offers to let me fight his golems after I've killed the last champion.  I do end up with every other item mentioned in my inventory (the loot from each kill) including Curgen's Hammer.

Including the save immediately before and after the quest event in case it's useful.

Autosave from the turn before I activated the quest: here

Save game from immediately following successful quest completion: here

Is it possible that this game was started on 0.90?  If so the fix in 0.91 wouldn't be applied (xml is stored in the save games so when you reload a 0.90 save you are loading 0.90 xml, no matter what your current xml is).

Oh thats nice to know, but also  seemingly makes for huge game files, not that I care.

Wanna say Thank you on a random note, because not alot of dev's I have been trying to contact took this much attention to people's problems :D...!

Any chance you can tell from the savegame?  I'm virtually certain that it was a new game.  I'll scrap it and start a new one and watch for the problem again.

To answer Kantok, when you go to load the game, if you hover over the saved games name it will tell you what version it is.  I also had a big with this quest, but it isn't the same, so I'll report it in it's own thread so as to not cause confusion.  I did get a screen saying I received heart seeker (but then i ran into my own issue before I ever finished the arena), so I'm not getting the same issue (not saying it isn't happening to you, just saying in my case, it didn't happen).

But if you start a game in .90 and then continue it in .91 once you save in .91 it will tell you .91 as your version, regardless of whether or not you actually started the game in .90 or .91.  What I was asking was if the SD guys had any way to tell, because I'm pretty certain it was a .91 created game.

I plan on playing a fresh game to look for this but life has gotten in the way the last few days.

Ahh, didn't realize that, my bad!

Now I'm not sure which version my game was started on....  Hmmm...

The problem isn't the game.  It's that I'm a moron.

I installed the update the day it came out, but for some reason it didn't take and I didn't notice.  You'd think the little .90 in the bottom right corner would be a give away.

Anyway, re-updated and all is well.  Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

I had the same observation on a new game start under .91.  No Heartseeker awarded.  Maybe it should just be stricken from the quest text?

EDIT: Hmm, hadn't noticed that either.  No worries then.  Playing through a new game now anyway :)
