[Bug] .90 Map screen uniform shade of gray-white with red border at all zoom distances, through all setting changes

So, I've never had this problem until this build, but it literally makes the game unplayable. My (relatively minimal) hardware specs haven't changed; did something in the requirements go up and I missed it? It doesn't look like this is a common problem.

I've seen a few posts about this now. Since it seems to be affecting a number of people, I'm guessing Stardock will look into it pretty quickly and try to nip it in the bud. Don't forget to help them out by submitting all the debug information!
