Wont start

You must be connected to the internet while playing beta versions. That error will go away if the game can successfully connect to the servers.

Im always connected to the internet.....

rightclick your shortcut and change the "target" to

"C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe" /username "yourusername" /password "yourpassword"

or wherever you installed the game

I recreated the shortcut and did the above using my username and password inside the " " and i got

The name "C:\Program Files(*86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe" /username "yourusername" /password "yourpassword"

specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and the filename are correct.

Well as I created the shortcut direct the path is exactly right...so im still screwed

Try removing the quotes around the username and password. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

Nope that didnt work either....

I just dont understand why because it worked fine before the update.

Sometimes the servers that FE Beta attempts to contact each time you start the game are uncontactable for some reason, and so the game won't start.  If you've tried many times and at different times of day, I suggest you email [email protected] to see if they can help you.

I have this same issue, any other ideas on how to fix it? Even tried uninstalling then re-installing and still get this problem

  Delete your "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\sig.bin" file.  The next time you start FE it will ask for your username, password and serial number.  You can get your serial number from the Stardock store if needed.
