I was playing around with custom factions when I:
1) Made a kingdom with the Wraiths. (Is this a bug, or is it intended?)
2) When I played as my Wraith Kingdom, the title of the founding scene says "The Founding of an Empire" while the background and text are all from the Founding of a Kingdom.
I made a custom kingdom using wraith as the race, it looks like a text error. It allows you to create a kingdom or empire with any of the races.
I like the point all the races are available, for a custom race. That said I agree with Natjur.

Actually not all races are available for a kingdom. Some of the races can only be played as empire. I do not know if this is a bug but I presumed that it was not since it is not all the races that can be played as empire and kingdom.
I like to play Mancers as Empire. I feel that kind of race could go either way.
I always play a custom kingdom (life spells appear better then death, call to arms and regen are just so useful!)
I use the Wraith race as they have cool tattoos and with white hair and light blue skin make a very close dark elf race, and I always go custom as I want serpents pack. It almost a must have trait.
How many of you play Empire (death) based?
Agreed with serpents, must have..
I tried a few empire runs at start, and whither is widely the only reason to go death, that spell alone can kill armies >_<.
If they fix whither I would probably only be kingdom due to Aura of Vitality being so awesome... (might help i either run magic at decent or high, since i always get the wrogn shards).
