Now if that's the stupidest question I ask all day, I'll consider it a victory.
I use this all the time to make sure the AI isn't cheating due to some bug.
As opposed to cheating as programmed? 
Now we just need a cheat key to slap AI units that are stuck in some terminal pathing loop or just sitting doing nothing. Wake up, you!

control-k. Also good when some quest spawns monsters in inaccessible regions like ocean and you get enemies-in-your territory message every turn because you can't kill them legally.
You sure this works? Doesn't seem to work on my (Steam, 1.02) game.

Ah, nvm, had to add "cheat" to launch options in Steam.
