Orchards and Apiarys, are they in the game?

I havent seen those in all the games i have played yet.

(or are they the same rarity as world events, which i havent seen either :) )

I've seen both of them using the default resource occurrence setting. I use the Temperate map setting. I play on small, medium and large maps. But generally play with less opponents than default. My last game I saw numerous grain resources in AI lands. Though I believe in All my games thus far, I have only seen one single material resource.

I don't believe I've ever seen a world event. My next game I will crank up the resource and world events setting to max.

Orchards and Apiaries are definitely in the game and fully functional.  I agree about the World Events, never seen one and I don't think they have been activated yet.

Clay Pit and Orchard

Medium world with 4 opponents. Mountainous map and Dense resources.

I've seen both, but they seem much, much rarer than Wild Grain.

I always play on sparse. I never have any problems with getting metal or crystals diplomatic capital. But except these "important" resources, I hardly find anything. :(

Are the world events those quests that trigger when you walk near them? Like kill the big effin dragon or go get this book sort of thing? They dont have a starting point (like an inn or anything...) they just kinda happen when you go near them.

Not my definition of a world event, but your post got me thinking as I havent had any either.
