[.86] Anyone else experiencing no diplomacy AI and AI not picking up items after battles?

I've seen a number of goodie huts left untaken by the AI, but I don't get what you're saying about the diplomacy AI.  I've had the AI offer me trade treaties, and offer me money to go to war with other AIs.

My understanding is that diplomacy has not yet been worked on in earnest, and is due for attention in a subsequent update.

I have seen the AI defeat a monster, and not raid the lair or pick up a dropped item, though.
