[.86 BUG] Assassin's sword quest makes no sense

At the beginning of the Assassin's Sword quest, you receive a +13 Att, +1 Initiative sword, which can be equipped immediately.

At the end of the quest, regardless of whether or not you complete it, stop it, or destroy the sword, you are left with a +13 Att, +1 Initiative sword.

Clearly,

1) the sword should be significantly more powerful at the end of the quest if you complete it, given that you've gone and slaughtered some innocents (and, presumably, Kingdoms won't like you much anymore)

2) the sword should not exist anymore if you've destroyed it.

Yeah at the start of the quest it talks about how it is supposed to be the Druss blade, but upon completing the quest the blade did not change. Oh and this is in the wrong forum. Please edit the title portion and change it to FE Support so the devs get wind of this.

The quest also reveals that it is actually just a demon in disguise whispering false promises. I don't see the problem.

I agree.  It's an assassin demon trying to corrupt you.  Break the blade =)

It's been a while since I did this quest (in .77) so my memory might be faulty, but if I remember correctly, when I returned to the original quest location the blade did change to a druss blade.

yep ... if sword does not turn into a Druss blade then it is a bug.

You should either destroy it ... or not finish the quest (keep it) ... or get a shiny new Druss blade :)
