[.86][Suggestion] Experience needs to be clearer

I really don't get how experience works now.  It would be better if it was clear to the player how much experience champions currently have and how much they need for their next level.  It would also be nice to see how much experience each champion gets from a battle.  As it is now, I feel like there is something wrong with the way it is working, but I have no way to prove that, as we can't see actual numbers.

Underneath the unit description in the lower left corner of the map (when you have that army/unit highlighted) you can see a blue/black bar that reads xp and shows you how much that unit has until it's next level. After each combat the little crown with numbers beside it is the ammount of experience your units earned in that battle.

In the patch notes there was mention of xp splitting. Currently the experience is divided by the number of champions/soveriegn you have in that unit group. This affects all units in that army. If you want more experience remove champions from the stack.

Oh thanks.  I was looking for an experience bar on the Unit View Screen.  I'll take a look when I get home.

Does the number of monsters affect XP?  I fought a big army with 2 champions, and I was surprised no one leveled up.

Anyway, I'll take a look at the numbers from now on, now that I know where to find them.  Cheers.

number of monsters does not affect exp in 0.85 ... I think this is supposed to be fixed in 0.86

It would be nice if it was clearer how much exp each unit or character is getting.

The exp you get after battle is presented after each battle. The needlessly small window that comes up and lacks labels on the numbers it shows.

On the left is the numbers for each of your units.

First column is damage taken.

Second column is damage given.

Third column is the exp each unit earned.

I posted about this same issue: https://forums.elementalgame.com/416432

Looks like I'm not alone in thinking that the way Experience is displayed is too subtle. I think one issue is that the crown used to represent experience isn't given much prominence in other areas. For instance, if a unit gains experience in a quest, does it show that icon?

Also, can anyone confirm if highlighting the crown icon says that it's experience?

Nathan E- you're right the small window that comes up is needlessly small and doesn't have any labels, resulting in the issues we're having!
