This is a relic from E:WOM, and one that just really looks bad. Please change the mouse cursor when going to the main menu from in game. Retaining the crossed-swords pointer or text-bubble pointer inside the menu is hard to use to point with and just feels clunky.
You guys are doing great with FE and I'm really enjoying myself. Little details like this will give the game a more overall polished feel.
