[Bug/Annoyance] Auto resolve combat uses too much mana!

High level armies against low level foes use 100 mana on average on Auto resolve

Maybe be this will be fixed in the upcoming AI upgrade but my champions with most of the mana cost reducing effects (affinity, mantle of oceans, gear, etc.) still burn 100 mana on average against low level foes. Meaning I have to fight them individually to watch my mana pool.
