[Bug 0.77] Maul ability never triggers now

anyone else having this problem? I was just mauled by a bear cub so I can say it's working sometimes... if you can give me more specifics maybe it will help?  you aren't missing, right?

Lots of bear mauling in my 0.77. I haven't tried with the berserker axe.

Bears are still eating my ass as of 0.77.

I goofed in my initial post... they are both equipped with the berserker's axe.  Here are my heroes stats:

My Level 33 Sovereign:

Str: 18

Dex: 19

Attack: 14

Accuracy: 96

Crit Chance: 11

Elsibetta Level 29

Str: 54

Dex: 21

Attack: 44

Accuracy: 117

Crit Chance: 12

Latest combat:  1 giant rock spider dodge of 3 and two level 4 rock spiders with dodge of 3.

Both characters make their initial hit and cause damage. Maul message and then the spiders dodge every time for the second attack.  Never, ever get damage on a second hit, always a dodge...  I did note that the text for the axe sts -3 accuracy reduction until missed attack, whereas the patch notes state it was changed to -4....

I think there is a bug if Bears can get a second or third strike in with Maul, and super high-level heroes, with much more accuracy to be reduced, never do.

Even with very high dex/accuracy I see the same thing. I might, if I'm lucky, get a second hit with maul, never get a third. Also the damage from each hit seems to be signfiicantly lower than each hit from double strike. It was definitely overpowered before, now it seems to be the opposite end of the spectrum.

I can maul, but only 2 hits in .77 with a high-level hero.  

So I think it's gone to the other end of the spectrum - from overpowered to underpowered.

I was not able to land a single maul with my high level heroes in muy previous 0.77 game either (they were level 15-25). But I am being mauled by bears in my current one. I don't know wether it is the item that was bugged, or my game, or whatever. 

I just one-shot everything since level 8 or 9 with my berserker's axe.

Same here: i can maul quite regularly with berserker's axe; however, game takes 10 s pause before each strike ...

Drives me crazy to the point that i just wait for my sov to counter-kill everything ..
