mostly cause it happens for the bug you are about to picka research and you get attacked and so cant complete it
btw also to notice i dont like many things to happen simoultaneously, so when i open research window NOTHING else should happen until i close it, same with picking up items, choosing lvl up traits etc
dunno why so many windows pop all at once, hope it get changed
Agree, it should at least go to the next thing in the tree, instead of doing nothing. There have been a few times I have looked up and noticed I wasn't doing any research.
I too have lost several turns to this bug.
I think the issue is (amusingly enough) that this part of the game is multi threaded where it SHOULD be single threaded.
Just want to bump this idea, as I have sometimes gone 10 turns with no research during a particularly interesting war. I think there just needs to be part of the END TURN thread that checks research; if nothing then prompt the user to select. Issue Sorted.

A related question:
Why do we get notifications of EVERY completed building? Wouldn't it be better to just pop up on the right if there is nothing left in the queue?
