Where's the loot?

When an army with no champions defeats a monster group and that monster group drops loot where does that loot go? Army groups can't carry anything, do the loot "go away?"

I think so, I saw some champions gear that was won by a city defending, and I could never find where it went.

The game needs a treasure room UI element where you can dump your loot.  Similar to the shop.  It should be accessible from any city and if your regular army gets loot it should end up there.
