Came in to check on whether any of these had been reported and noticed 0.77 already out. Good signs indeed!
Here's a dump of my buglist from the last playthrough. Some are pretty minor, but anything that broke my concentration on the game long enough to alt-tab to the buglist made it on. I do have screenshots of most issues, but I'm happy to move on to 0.77 and report later.
Fallen Enchantress Beta 0.76:
User Interface:
- When other events occur on the same turn as a technology choice, they pop up over top of the tech window. Need to make the tech choice window modal.
- When there are many armies, the cities roll off the bottom of the screen in the list to the left with no indication that there is more cities to be seen.
- After loading, ALL caravans are visible in unit list along the side rather than just the caravans that have not yet established a trade route.
Gameplay:
- Loading a save game does not correctly calculate remaining moves, especially with enchantments (compass, tireless march, etc). This reverts after a turn.
- Loading a save game incorrectly calculates player score. This reverts after a turn.
- When initiating a battle, it moves focus to the next army even if the current army has moves left after the battle.
Display:
- Characters with shields have clipping issues when animating (eg: portrait window when folding arms)
- When trading, swapping characters leaves the magic auras behind (eg: leader has Mantle of Fire cast on them, then swap to another hero and they continue to have Mantle of Fire displayed effect even though they do not have the aura)
- No graphic for war events (eg: declaring war has the message under a heading with no icon)
- Pressing escape while hovering over an attack leaves the mouse cursor as the attack cursor. Flush cursor on escape and flush cursor on resumption.
Scenario:
- Dungeon scenario for boots of the spider takes place in an open field instead of a dungeon.
Suggestions:
- Trading diplomatic capital gives the other nation diplomatic capital. I would have expected diplomatic capital to be equivalent to goodwill, and be dissolved once used for negotiating.
