[Suggestion] Breakable equipment

Because even the sharpest sword may lose its edge

A turn spent in a city would be necessary to repair it, some sites could possibly double as forges. Special attacks could break equipment too, weakening important heroes for a while and bringing new strategies to the table. "Master Smith" or "Supperior equipment" traits could affect this - possible repairs in the field (after a while), or modified chances for breaking. Units could be affected too.

I've never liked breakable equipment in games, seems like extra micromanagement and trouble than actual fun mechanic.  My opinion.

I agree with Lord Xia.  That's a little too much realism, especially in a game where you have more than one or two champions.  Though a special ability that disarmed a hero for a turn or two during tactical battles might be interesting.

There's already a lot going on in this game to keep track of so I would say no.

Please don't. For a SP RPG its ok, but not for this scale.

Agree with Xia.

I would have to agree with Xia as well.

With that being said I would also like to see a disarm spell in the game. The spell should cause the enemy to drop is weapon for 2 rounds causing him to have to attack with his bare hands. this would be a great spell against archers or units that have maul type weapons

No.  I agree with Xia, and have never seen a durability system that made sense or was fun.

Like the disarm idea though.
