Bugged quest: Pit of Utheron

Went to quest site to retrieve staff, killed two ignys (spelling?) and won the encounter but no staff picked up. Right now no way to finish quest.

Yeah, seems to happen with quite a few quests. The level 5 arena quest doesn't give you the sword in question.
