[Bug/Spells] Spells with casting time occasionally fail to cast

This was occuring in .75, still happening in .76. Occasionally when I cast a spell with a casting time (Fireball, Titan's Breath, etc), the spell will start charging, but when that hero's turn comes around again, the spell doesn't trigger - I just get another normal turn.

Haven't pinned down any specific cause, just seems to occur occasionally in any situation.

I've seen this happen very often in 0.77. Usually happens when I cast Fireball right at the start of a tactical battle.

This happened to me a ton in my one day of .76, it seems much better in .77, to be honest not sure if I have seen it at all, but obviously it's still occurring on some people systems (unfortunately).

I had this happen as well but only with NPC champions, I have not had this happen since .76 though.

I figured this one out today.  Your whole army can only have 1 spell being cast at a time.

If the unit casting the spell is hit, it is canceled.

If another unit casts a spell with a charge time both spells are canceled.

I could have 2 fireballs cast at the same time, but each time someone was hasted or slowed, it canceled the spell indeed.

This happened to me as well multiple times. I would start casting summon earth elemental first with my sovereign, then a champion would start casting fire elemental on the same turn. The earth elemental would always be succesfully cast by my sovereign, but quite often (especially if he gets hit), my champion would not succesfully summon the fire elemental. (the cast button was activated again though, so if he wanted he could try to cast again, but there was no feedback as to why he didn't complete casting the first time)

I confirm this behaviour. At the start of most battles I start to cast Blizzard with my sovereign. Usually, I will ned to re-cast it when it next becomes her turn.

Some things I have seen:

1) In most (all?) of these battles at least one enemy unit moves adjacent to my sovereign, but does not hit her. Would it be enough to make a spell stop casting that an enemy unit is adjacent?

2) A champion I have in that same army uses 1 or more special abilities (but does not cast any spells) while Blizzard is readying. Would any special ability being used cancel the casting of Blizzard?

I have noticed this also but could it be that initiative times get so crazy (which I love) that, perhaps, the spell is 20 turns behind and we never actually make it to it? Or should the spell be ready when the caster next gets his turn? Does the spell have its own initiative is the question.
