[CRASH] repeatable - starting a new game

1. loading up a saved game (doesnt matter which one)
2. going immediately to main menu
3. start a new game
4. pressing next on the sovereign screen crashes me every time

(will provide a log later, at work atm)

Opening "game within a game", eg loading, new game, etc. is a known issue (I've read somewhere...) but I'm sure an email to support with the debug would help!
