The Maul ability is much to strong. By level 10 my hero can solo anything that comes at him.
Trolls, Drakes, Dragons, Statues, even that End of Summer monster.
I suggest to cap the number of possible attacks at 3 + (DEX / 10).
I'm terrified of bears and the Buchermen because of the maul ability. It is INCREDIBLY overpowered, especially against low defense or dodge characters.
Unfortunately true. Maul should be nerfed (somehow) or just put on highlvl creatures so that is something special and not just some Butcherman tearing me apart
Yep, you're not the only ones who agree, if you're wondering why this might not get that much attention:
My sovereign got a berserker axe.
It singlehandedly broke the game. My battles went from tactically maneuvering my soldiers and strategically casting spells from support mages to casting haste on the sovereign and skipping everyone else's turn while he tanks damage and mows down anything in his path like blades of grass.
