I was just walking around on the overland map and the game crashed to desktop. Now it crashes whenever I try to load that game up.

Did you complete the arena quest? Whenever I complete that the game runs fine for a few turns then crashes, and the savegames don't load, but only those after the quest, the ones before load up just fine.
Nope, I didn't do any arena quest. I can't think of any quests that I finished recently.
