[Suggestion] Instead of +1 Stat per level...

You could make it so you get +1 point for every level divisible by 3 or 4 (depending on its power), or something like that.  And if you got it later you would get the bonus for the previous divisible levels retrospectively.  So it would always give a decent bonus (maybe if it always gave +1 stat point on the level-up it was gained on, and then +1 for every 3 or 4 full levels etc. you gained) but not be as OP as +1 Strength/Dexterity/Constitution every single level which means effectively adding 15 to the stat, not including all the other one off bonuses. =)


So, what do you think?

whatever nerf is fine, but i dont think whould be too huge

 

there are other perks giving 3  stats, this is a rare so i think something like 1 stat for every 2 levels is ok

 

it has to be strong, also when the real tuning and fix to ai and general balance hit the game it wont be so easy to free farm with champions (at least it should be so)

A good idea. Hadn't really given it much thought. I would guess that something like 1 every 2 levels would be pretty good if they make leveling slightly harder.

I like the way it is. At the creation of the soveign it should cost 2 points and not 1.

I think a level cap of 10 and a reduction of the XP rewards to 50 % would be better, because per level talents are less powerful and the player has to think very carefully about the talent selection.

I'm just a bit lost here- could someone explain the leveling system a bit better? You get +1 to a specific stat per level? Or +1 to each stat given bonuses by traits?

Right now when my sovereign/champion gets a level, it's not obvious there's an inherent stat increase if that's happening (or am I missing something), other than whatever I choose for a trait bonus.

No, there is no inherent stat bonus for trained units or champions. Some traits and items can give you bonuses that increase things by 1 per user level.

Also, summoned units differ in stats depending on their level when they were summoned. They don't gain when they level up, but you can still see two earth elementals with different stats.
