[bug]? Mass Curse and other tactical effects and spells

First off, thank you! This is one of those releases that just ate 10 hours of my life without me noticing ....

I have a bug, or something, where the pre combat trait Mass Curse ( is it called mass curse ? ) just locks down tacticla combat. I can auto progress but nothing else.

I can't help but feel this is related to other spell effects during tactical that take a very long time before being cast by the AI. this is a AI problem only, my spells cast fine.

Anyone else?
