Suggestions and feedback (FE Beta 0.75)

FE is really good game! Well done Stardock!

I think that current version is really well polished and balanced. Please Stardock, make all changings carefully, becase you have found the "fun" element

Suggestions:

1) Is there any limit on the city "length"(how far from city center i can build)? If no, maby you should add some limit, because all my cities now 1 tile width and >5 length.

2)All the bandits are the same (Bandit + wolf), it should be variety.

3)One of my cities was destroyed by single spider! Maby when the city is captured by low-intelligent animal (spider, wolf, ect.) it must loose some population and some buildings, then animal will "forget" about the city for some time. It looks ridiculously when single spider destroys huge city with >7 improvements.

4) Please, add a button "remove enchantements" on the city screen (same for champions).

5) Show more info on mana when mouse_over the mana indicator

6) Show the caravans separately from troops (at the left part of the screen).

Agree. Animals should just kill population, maybe a couple of improvements, but not the entire city.

A few more suggestions I'd make:

- Show the path a unit is routed on and the number of turns it'll take to get to each spot, like Civ4.
- Have a more dominant popup for cities becoming idle, and have 'remain idle' as a build option.

1) I dunno, I kinda like the snake cities, that's one holdover from WoM I don't mind staying in

2) I've noticed different bandit groups, that's just the first bandit patrols at the very start, they change up later

4-6 I second these

Nice feedback, I agree with all except 1. On 3, I wouldn't mind if a huge (and I mean huuuuuge) spider destroyed my city, but I do agree that the bigger the city the harder it should be for lowlife monsters to destroy it. A simple spider should be able to destroy an outpost but now a city. A dragon should definitely be able to destroy huge cities though. Perhaps they can link monster levels to city levels?

I had a great time doing my first 50 turns last night. Finally there's some real atmosphere in Elemental!

One thing I noticed is that item swapping feels cumbersome. I have to do a lot of clicks for that now and it feels a bit cumbersome. Dragging and dropping from one infopanel to another would be much easier.
