[BUG] Game partially off-screen when using desktop resolution

I just downloaded the beta, and started the game. I was wondering to myself whether the game would be fully visible, or partially off-screen.

You see, I have my taskbar to the left side of my monitor, and War of Magic put the game partially off-screen when running in 'full screen windowed mode', Due to not starting in the upper left corner, but next to the taskbar. True Fullscreen mode did not work properly either, but I haven't seen that option in Fallen Enchantress. I reported that bug during the beta of the original elemental multiple times, and at release, but it seems it has not been fixed yet, after all this time. 

Whilst I haven't looked at the rest of the game yet, I have to say this makes for a very poor first impression.

I just ran into this also. I also have my taskbar on the left side of the screen.

It may also be significant that I probably clicked on some other windows after launching the game but before it actually started.

Following the directions I have a debug.err if there's anything useful in there about desktop setup, resolution, etc.

Same problem on my laptop.  I just set my taskbar to autohide which "fixed" it.

Well, since I tend to alt tab out of the game, having the taskbar set to autohide or moving it to another location is annoying. As is changing the options all the time. So instead, until such a time as Stardock fixes this 1.5 year old bug I have written a small C# program that launches elemental fallen enchantress and fixes the window position problem.

Just put it in the Fallen enchantress directory and run it instead of FallenEnchantress.exe. I have to note that this 'fix' the program uses is quite crude, but it should work. And anyway, it is not intended as a permanent solution.
