Why was my skin rejected?? Copywrite...& Where did it go?

First...IF my skin was rejected because of quality...as in not good enough....I can deal with that...I wouldn't be offended...it's just means that I need to work harder...no problem...BUT

That's not the reason.

I attempted to upload a LogOn Studio skin.
I received the conformation email.
It was rejected due to copy write infringement....
So, I edited the skin to try to remove the copy write material....
I uploaded it again, but this time...
I didn't receive the auto generated conformation email...
So, the next day I checked my uploads area and the skin was there "Waiting on Approval"...
The next day the skin was gone
No email....just gone...

Where did it go? And why haven't I received any notifications about it?

Yesterday, I uploaded a Boot skin.
All the images I used belonged to Daniel Brauer and Dock Zone, but he not only gave me permission to use it, he actually requested that I make it for him...he didn't know how to prepare the image...
I've not yet received the auto generated conformation email.
This morning it was still in my uploads "Waiting for Approval"
Now it's gone.....

Why??
Where did it go?

Like I said, if it's a quality issue...I can work on that.
If the skin violates copy write policy...I can edit it until it DOESN't....
But with no nothing.....I can't do anything...lol
Thanks,
TNBrat!

One thread on the subject is sufficient also.

If the skin violates copy write policy...I can edit it until it DOESN't....

Maybe after editing the wwork there is no substance left to justify it. Example-Try doing a good Microsoft XP wallpapper without using the words microsoft and XP.
