windowblinds will change most all programs "look and feel".

I'm not sure what you mean about quick task.

quick task as in in the bottom left next to the start button, you have internet explorer shortcut, collapse all open windows etc.

Listen to MooShoo, by your description of what you're looking for, Windowblinds is worth checking out.

What you're looking for is Object Bar, part of the Object Desktop. It skins, the taskbar and whatnot. There are many applications included, in the entire package, and it is well worth, the money. I know it sounds like a shameless, plug, but many will second, my opinion and advice.

All you really need is Windowblinds. It will skin all the windows and also the Start/QuickLaunch/Task/Systray bar. That combined with Nextastart will give you an awsome desktop.

Objectbar is still could be cool, but it's still in realy phases of development IMO. Wait till it's out of beta. Cheers!

Man... I should really re-read what I write. My last paragraph should be:

As far as I know, ObjectBar does not skin window titlebars either - you still need WindowBlinds or Chroma for that. It's also very easy to make a menu in NextSTART point to the folder that holds all your quick launch shortcuts, but I agree that using WorkShelf for that makes a lot more sense.

In the next release, both NextSTART and WorkShelf will include access to the contents of the Quicklaunch toolbar when you first install them.

No other menu system existing today offers all the functionality provided by NextSTART (as many will also second ) - you have hotspots, full drag and drop support PLUS *real* skinned context menus, among many other powerful features. The latter is, so far, unique to NextSTART and enables you to use NextSTART menus *just like* the real Start Menu, with the added benefits that total 'look & feel' customization implies.
