That's exactly it. It's fine to want to get the beta, but nobody should expect that they're going to re-design whole concepts at this point. Bugfixes and polish.
this is very true, by and large. Though as long as implementation is not much too tortuous they might do some under the hood work, but I guess if any particularly noteworthy idea does crop up it will more likely go to expansion land.
Honestly I'd hope for as little under the hood work at such a late stage, from what I understand and from what I've seen, that is when things happen, not good things either.
