LoL China. All my friends are Linux freeks, but I am a gamer. I am running a dual PIII 800MHZ over clocked to 1.02GHz with 1+ Gig of ram. When my freinds see my system next time I want them to think I am using Linux like a god.
So I need an Explorer.exe editor or replacement that I can remove the task bar and start menu and change the GUI.

You will need a shell replacement (such as Litestep) or enhancement (such as Desktop X) as well as a Window skinner, such as Windowblinds. Heer are some links for ya.

DESKTOP X:
KDE style: http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3&SkinID=329
Gnome style: http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3&SkinID=224

WINDOWBLINDS:
http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=1268 or http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=1235

LITESTEP:
http://www.customize.org/details/1378 or http://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php?id=22082 or this KDE Litestep theme (preview: http://themes.litestep.com/images/kde.JPG ; download: http://themes.litestep.com/KDE.zip )

Or if you really want to impress those friends of yours, try the best Linux emulator out there:

Wow, Hippy. That emulator looks pretty good. The 700MB download is a bit hefty, though.

Kinda like that devilsown XP emulator.
