file path for sins of a solar empire doesnt exist??????

Im trying to install a mod for sins of a solar empire, but the file path doesnt exist.

When I launch the game and select show MOD file path it comes up with C:/Users/ user/ Appdata/local/Ironcladgames/Sins of a Solar Empire / mods C1.191

I follow that paths, C:/    done    Users/    done / user/   done

Then Appdata doesnt exist, so I create a new folder and it says " do you want to replace Appdata" but its not even there!!!!

So somehow its hidden , how do I set it to none hidden, Im also confused as it says 0 hidden folders

The only way to install this mod is to copy everything to that location, that I cant get to, help please
