Star dock, preparing to download update

So I started EWoM and was informed there was an update. So I clicked update. Sadly, star dock has been sitting there for a few minutes saying "preparing download" without any progress occurring(I have a cable connection). I tried exiting stardock, loading EWoM and clicked update. Stardock asked if I want to continue with a previous download(the update). I said yes, and I waited with no progress. Help?

Comp Specs:
Intel i5 750 2.67ghz x2(processor)
8GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4670(Graphics card)
Windows 7 64bit

It can take up to about 5 minutes (or maybe longer) to check the files.  When updating, it compares the files in the Elemental directory to the files in the patch.   This is why it takes so long, it is not just a simple patch.  You need to wait a bit.  If that doesn't work, contact "[email protected]". =)
