On both Object Bar and DesktopX you have to configure them in the settings to startup with windows

i didn't see where i could change that in the bar properties. But i think the problem is that when i restart, all my objects are lower (a few centimeters) and my bar is out of the screen.

how can i avoid that ?

i think it's not a real objectBar, it's a bar with links, virtual desktops, etc... managed by DesktopX like an object as the others (i can't say it to start with windows). And every time i restart, it disappears and all the objects are lower in the screen...

very strange.

I am trying orbital theme. every time i restart windows the bar dissapears approx 2CM to the left.
alien theme and a few others makes my bar go up the screen a few cm on each reload. this is starting to get annoying for me.

anyone any ideas

Is this a bug

Ive stopped my bar dissapearing by setting my work area co-ordinates all to zero.

Previously in Orbital theme I had work area set to left 250. then every time i reloaded the x co-ords on everything were reduced by 250 each time so my bar quickly had negative numbers and dissapeared off screen.

Only happens for left co-ords in orbital but in other themes it has effect on y coords if the bar is at the top of the screen.

It is a bug I guess. the desktop objects are located compared to the left and top of the screen. Objectbar/anybar could set the location of the top of the screen lowen then it actually is to allow for the windows not to maximize over the bar. Since desktopx objects are located related to the top they become located compared to the new top made by the bar., when the bar doesn't load they become located to the real top instead of the one the bar makes.

Configure DesktopX -> Work Area -> First Tab (Desktop) -> Work Area ... 0,0,0,0
