1.19L Curgen's Inferno Strategic Map Rangecheck Fails for Comupter players

I suspect the game doesn't use a range check when casting this spel for Computer opponents. I I've ben hit by it on a town when I feel  fairly certain was outside of the range that my opponent would have for this spell. Unfortunatly I forgot to make save game when this happened so I only got a before one which is a lot of turns back and an after one which is a couple of turns past the event. Did make some screenshots and range testing, Notice that my realm is cut of from the rest of the world by mountains as barriers

My Towns before getting hit with Inferno's

Checking a far square range, notice how Edain and Aquedd are outside this 5 square range

My towns after the Inferno's Edain got hit first then Omayii and a few turns after that Aquedd

Checking the range again, Notice how my Inferno doesn't reach the Craters of where the computer casted his Curen's Inferno

Anyway, I think it's cool that the computer is using his magic a lot ( if you watch the save games you can also see that Resolyn has been hammered into oblivion by the use of this spell by another computer player) but for such a powerfull spell it is important that the computeer is following the range restirctions.

This happened after I took revenge on Gilden by casting 2 inferno's on his city

also notice that there's still a city's nametag with the wrong information in one of these pictures

you realize that it is only a unit that needs to be in the vicinity right?  If an enemy unit is in the territory that can perform the spell, then they can do it.

Although I believe I have noticed the Sions pulling off that assassin strike when they are not right next to one of my units.  But they may have fixed that with the last patch.  I am glad they fixed the dragon fire to where it doesn't stick around.

And also they may have done with a guy on a ship hidden by the cliffs.  But I don't know.  I am not saying the comp isn't cheating.  I am just stating what would be my first theories.

I'm walled off completely in that game so the closes a unit from the AI can come is where my sovreign is standing checking the range in one of the pictures (unless they're on a ship, but I've never seen the ai make a ship and I didn't see any effidence of there being a ship close). The stack of units that the AI does have close to that has no caster in it
