End of Azzazell's quote

The 1.2 beta patches are mostly stability and performance.  Most of the patch notes have looked just like this one.

You won't find overly many feature changes (there are a few) but quite a bit more stability (if you've had stability problems with 1.1).

If v1.11 is working fine for you, no need to try the v1.2 betas. The v1.2 series has been about re-desgning the memory allocation system which is dry, unglamorous work but necessary if we're going to increase the amount of content and world sizes in the future along with deal with OOM during save games on busy games.

This build won't be the "magic bullet" but it should be better than j for those who have experience OOM.

Im so glad for this Frog as the constant oom crashes are driving me crazy!  I really do enjoy some of the changes in the game and the AI is at least doing a bit better, except for the flipping Pioneer spam!! ARRR they use them as scouts when I think they should be more like in Civ as Settlers, where they get protected and making them should be a bit more of a pain.  Maybe that way the AI wouldnt spam them everywhere and just drop cities like mad.

I still get an occasional DX invalid call crash during tactical with this build. Haven't had it long enough to get any oom's yet though.

I think that they meant the 7th according to their local time zone. It's not their fault your 7th is over a lot earlier than theirs is.
