Object sizes, meters and slowdown oh my!

I have a theme that i'm testing but it doesn't seem to be working very well. So far there are three problems.

1. When I start DX several objects won't load up. I have to find the .dxtheme file and run it for everything to appear again.

2. I'm not sure it's my meters or not but whenever I set they're z-order to 'always on top' things REALLY slow down.

3. My screen size is 1600x1200 and I have an object that is about 300x1200 with it's z-order set to 'Always on top' Is this a problem? I seem to get slowdown whenever this is setup this way. The only fix is to put it to 'Desktop' level.

Between this and the meters I keep having slowdown problems. I don't know if this is something I should contact stardock about this or what? If some experienced skinner would like to take a look at my theme I'd be much oblidged )

when you put things to always on top it gets treated as a window I think. It has to be redrawn no matter what. I think that when you put anything to always on top it will slow you down.

Ok, that does make sense. But that doesn't affect problem 1. This morning when I restarted dx my theme was shifted to the left so that only a small part of it was visibile. Yet when I actually used the .dxtheme file all was right again.

Methinks this is a bug more than anything but I could be wrong.
