Object dock KkMenu: How do you get it to work???

I gave up on it a long time ago. I simply couldn't get it to replicate what I'd seen in the screenshots. I could get a menu with images and choices that worked, but not tiered menus. I followed the directions that I found but they were no help.
Everytime I see someone ask about it, they are pointed to the directions on the webpage and that is it. I think a more detailed explaination is needed. However it does appear that some "get it". I usually can get it, but I feel the menu creation interface is poorly designed and therefore not user friendly, consequently difficult to figure out.

Someone posted this link http://home.betacontrol.cz/kkweb/index.htm (in one of the ODock comments) to get the latest version...but it appears to be a member-only site. Let us know if you get registered and are able to download the program.

It is shareware now and I refuse to buy a plugin for a freeware program.

I was also using the freeware version and I refuse to buy a plugin for a free program. That is just plain wrong in my book and really should not be allowed. However I guess enough ppl are buying into it.
Anyway I am registered at the site, it didn't cost anything to do that. I'm not sure what the point of it is, except you can get notification of updates. I think the author thinks he's created the next big thing or something, not just an add-on. I found the help at the site to be worthless. Perhaps its changed now as I have not been back in awhile.
But as I mentioned before, I feel the interface isn't very intuitive. I have seen post after post about people having difficulty with this plugin, yet the author doesn't care to fix it.
Maybe if it was easier to use, even more people would purchase it.
