[1.19h] Movement Point Problems

Why do units with more than two movement points always start with 2 movement points upon reload of a saved game instead of their full movement points? I've been wondering that for awhile. On a related note, why do units stationed in a city suffer the lowest available movement points of other units in the city? I assume it's because the game considers the stationed units as a stack but it's irritating to have a 4 movement point hero at 2/4 movement points because other units in the city are slowasses. If I move the hero outside the city and station them there, then they retain their full movement points. That then becomes slightly annoying because the hero is in the next available unit queue (is not in the queue when in a city). Overall it's a minor issue but mildly irritating. Something to consider polishing when priorities allow.

Yes, I brought up this issue (being reduced to 2 Movement Points when you have more than 2 upon loading a save game) a couple of times before I think, one quite a while back.  It would be fantastic if it was fixed, as it is a case of saved games not saving all their information, or the game ignoring some of it when it loads, one or the other.  And I don't think being in a city should count as being in a queue (especially since you can have more than 16 units in a city at once).

Best regards,
Steven.
