W.T.H. crashes

everytime i go to get the economics upgrade it crashes. not to mention the random crashes periodaccly throughout gameplay. how do these pc game companies stay in business making crap games that crash all the time. this is the 4th game ive bought in 3 months that just plain didnt play well crashes and glitches and overload. i have a 1200 dollar pc and it is loaded for gaming. so explain to me how nothing freaking works. first tropico 3, then left 4 dead 2, then cities 20011xl, and now elemental war. F#$@#%%^@$^#

What version of the game are you running? 1.11 release? 1.19h beta? The 1.19h beta is becoming very stable so I'm optimistic 1.2 will be fantastic!

Hate to say this but maybe it's your PC.  My $800 HP middle-of-the-road PC purchased at Staples handles this game just fine.

Almost sounds like your video card is overheating and causing the crashes.   I would check to see if the fan is working on the card.  Also update the drivers of course.

shouldnt have to wait for a good update of the game it should work when they release it. imagine them releasing a ps3 or xbox 360 game that didnt work. and my pc is top of the line and handles much better games easily. i will check the fan and see if that is the problem. thank u
