Excluding an app from skinning

With windowblinds, I use the blackcomb skin, which changes the color sceme in windows.

I also use another app that needs to not be skinned to work correctly. I can choose not to skin that app, and the theme elements are suppressed. This is great.
The problem is the colors used by the blackcomb skin are not supressed causing the excluded app to be very hard to read.

Is there a way to fix this?

When WB excludes an app it applies the color settings for the Classic Windows (Win9x look). You would have to change the colors for the Classic windows

Thanks.
Tried that. My classic look uses the standard 3D colors, but I still get the blue from the skin. So no joy there.

Maybe its time to shop around for a lighter skin.

Did you try changing in Display Properties-->Advanced-->Other Advanced Controls? This brings up the classic windows Advanced Appearance Window where you can change individual settings

Yep.

I even tried to change them to something like Lime green, just to see if had any effect.

While there were no errors, it had no effect. The next time the app was started, it still had the blue from the theme.

No worries, I have found a light theme I like, and works with all my apps.

Thanks
