I third it, as the cartographers has NEVER allowed exit and re-enter of cartographers without exiting elemental and re-loading elemental, and even posted this back in beta 4.

The editors don't seem like much of a priority. I'm starting to view E:WoM as just a really long loooong beta for FE.
