[1.19a] Play by Play of Ridiculous Game (Seasons 61+)

• S70: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19969679/Elemental/PlaybyPlay/119a%20PlaybyPlay%20S70.EleSav I'm busy fighting off monsters across multiple fronts - now seeing young ogres and tougher mobs. Still haven't found other factions but as Leja makes her way west I'm pretty sure I'm a few turns away from discovering someone. Umber's FP is progressing at the same pace as mine. Major goal at this point is to improve economy, gildar and materials especially, and join both the northern and southern kingdoms. I'm using the charisma builds and fertility spells to found settlements, create 2 huts, and level each one to level 3 to increase the zoc's - pushing the monster spawns farther away and eventually eliminate them completely. Janusk and my sov are working towards each other in the middle - another hero is in northern capital2 to keep the monsters at bay. If something pops up in southern front, I can cast return or teleport. Using a couple initial melee units to scout the southern frontier borders. Once the kingdoms are joined and the northern section is cleared of monsters and civilized, I'll consolidate my way south towards Umber, force magnify, conquer, and swing west for the final showdown with remaining kingdoms and empires. I have a few heroes to hire but don't have enough gildar yet to fully gear the ones I do have. Things are looking promising!

They are 20 FP below me and it looks like they are blocking the eastern continent from the western - which is fine by me. I've focused the last 10 turns on pushing the wilds back, reacting to monster incursions, and building the economy. I now have a steady income plus materials. Some of the monsters are equivalent to my fully geared heroes so I'm now doing some warfare research to get weaponry and then another level of armor so the heroes can safely tank monsters on auto-resolve (I'm lazy plus tactical combat needs some strategy love). Umber and I are staying even on FP - they are expanding down south but that's ok. Less pioneers for me to create later. Major goals at this point are to clear and settle the entire northern kingdom so I can bring the troops south for the future Umber campaign. I'll leave Tarth where they are for now. A little low on food but I have 3 oasis tiles, no granaries yet built, so not concerned about a food lock. Still looking good!
