Impulse Login: An error occurred trying to process your request

Whenever I try to login to impulse from within Elemental, I get this message: "An error occurred trying to process your request."

The Impulse stand alone application login works fine, but not being able to connect from within Elemental makes it impossible to try multiplayer or the 1.19 beta.

i am having the same problem--its like the game is not communicating with impulse as I can log into the stand alone impulse but not the game.

If you're unable to log in in-game, please contact [email protected] so they can investigate, as it appears to be working correctly here.

My buddy finally got the game and is running into the same problem.  Reset his password and the whole bit, but nothing.  Seems that the game may not be registering correctly with his account so likely takes someone at tech support to manually input it.  Problem is he's ticked and doesn't want to play now, and our once in a blue moon gaming time was today.  :(  Anyhow, sounds like an issue more with Stardock than Elemental.

I'm having the same exact issue, which started after updating last night. I've checked all my login info (through impulse and shift tab), but it still wont connect. Impulse and Elemental both have access through win7 firewall, and as I mentioned, this was a non issue before lastnight.

Same problem here, and I just bought a box version this morning.  After update, newly created account.   I even used the games create a new account option.(which I cant figure for the life of me why that option is even there as it just tells you to use impulse)

There was a problem with the multiplayer server which has been cleared up.  If you are still having trouble, try closing Impulse and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly.  Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it.  Then relaunch Impulse.  You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.
