1.19 where have all the random creatures gone

Since installing 1.19 I haven't actually seen a single bandit or creature. I've check the option was on in my last game and although I get told about creatures being released into the wild I never encounter randomly wandering creatures any more, is it just me?

I am surprised by your post and wonder if it is just a random thing. I just finished a complete game (800+ turns)  of 1.19 and right from turn 10 or so, I was getting bum rushed by a steady stream of bandits, spiders, wolfs, crazed Walmart associates, etc. What world setting were you using?

Aye, I see plenty of creatures. I wonder more about where all the resources went though. ;)

In the game I just played there were plenty of resources but they were almost all located near the other factions' settlements. Many of them had three to five resources next to them. I believe Kael mentioned that the designers are working on a better distribution algorithm for resources in 1.2

I don't see the sarcasm icon here. Are you serious? Because I see resources everywhere now. In one game, I had 4 iron mines within about a 15-20 tile radius. Thats without any tech spawning resources too.

I agree resources are more common now but I'm not seeing any wolves, bears or bandits accept on quests.Maybe it's because I'm playing at very low difficult.

Yeah, I just did 2 games, where the only resources not spawned by techs where a single warg and some shards. 75% of the map was empty.

Ive only played 20 turns and seen bandits, spiders, and darkling warriros.

Brad toned down the wandering monsters because they were getting too strong in the early game.  I think it was overdone some.

Skaths on turn 100 is fine.  The problem was getting skaths on turn 10 previously.
