I could not locate the C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic directory with a crash file, as recommended in the "How to report a problem" post.

I was having the normal "Out of Memory" crash happen often, sometimes during a zoom, but usually while trying to save.  I got in the habit of saving a lot.  When my last crash happened, I restarted the game, and found that all of my save games were gone.  My save game diretory is empty.  Nothing.

I can't give much detail beyond that.  I don't remember exactly what caused the last crash, it may have been while zooming in to start a battle.  I had been playing this particular game for a long time, many turns into it.  I had essentially won, but was trying explore what happens at the end of each tech and magic research path, seeing how much I could develop cities, leveling up my main hero units, etc. 

I lost a lot of playing hours, but that is not the biggest thing.  I am reluctant to play this again if my investment of time is going to be wiped out so easily.  It is bad enough that I have to save constantly, but if I also have to copy save files to a safe backup location every time, that is too much.

If you can give me another idea of where to find that "crash" ZIP file, I will look again.
