Big maps?

Hi,

I was wondering if we are going to get the super big maps. I remember Frogboy saying that 64bit computers would get (some day) the option to get bigger maps than the ones we have now. So I am wondering how far 64 bit support and bigger maps are on the objective list. The reason I'm interessted in this is because I want to create a larger map of the world that I have now.
