New Libraries?

No links to new libraries?

I recently have seen that there are more libraries for uploading.  I uploaded a dock to "objectdock backgrounds", but if I explore using the navigation it only sends me to "objectdock"... and nothing else and any dock that isnt in the "objectdock" library doesn't show there. and there is no way to get to the objectdock backgrounds except by way of the home page and only if there is an upload that is in that category on the home page.  this can severely limit the exposure of any uploads in categories that are not accessable from the wincustomize navigation.

Any Ideas?

You can add the library to your list of galleries, if you are a subscriber. Do it from the home page.

not really TriDragon, as at the moment we have 3 direct links everybody is going to click on the skin thumbnail or on the skin name: 2 direct links to the skin not to the gallery yeah at the very bottom there is a third direct link to the category as you said, just nobody will notice it !

I already said in other posts that the 5 NEW string positions on the WC HomePage give the top visibility\exposure to the skin

but the permanency it's like a lottery: 1 hour or less for the unlucky skins, 10\20 hours for the lucky ones ( in downloads count 10\20 or 200\400)

my idea is to provide only the direct link to the Category clicking on the thumbnail no more links are needed,

naturally the new skin will appeared always at the first position in his Gallery, but all the gallery especially the new libraries will have more visitors ! :)

If you aren't a subscriber, it is rather odd that you can't find the OD Backgrounds gallery in normal navigation.  I've created a bookmark in my browser for it.  Just add _backgrounds to the address for the original OD gallery to get this:

Not true also. All you have to do is click on explore instead of hovering on it and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says other. They added a new ObjectDock background category in the list.

It's still true.  But it is nice to see that there is another way to get to it, however convoluted it may be.

I guess I don't think it is that difficult to click on it and go to the bottom of the page. We are talking about one click. Its not like we have to scroll through pages of info to find it. I also do not want all the galleries listed in the dropdown list. I removed some and placed the ones I use the most in it.

I guess you can't please everyone all of the time but I do not mind the way things are. I am only speaking for myself though and I am just one person at the bottom of the list on this site.

It isn't really that difficult, as long as you know where to look.  As time goes by, I'm sure more and more people will come to realize where it's at and it'll be no big deal.  For one, I'm just glad that backgrounds, which are really the backbone and purpose of ObjectDOCK have their own gallery.  I mean, c'mon, it's not called ObjectIcon is it.
