i want to love my dock, but it won't let me...

Hey all, I downloaded Object Dock and just about every iconset and docklet yesterday afternoon, and started playing with them. I love it. Alot. However, after about 50 changes, and after I had unzipped all of the docklets, the damn thing wouldn't allow me to get to the system configure menu. I've gotten rid of KKmenu, which didn't seem to do much after I installed it, unistalled and reinstalled OD, several times, even tried to repair the file. Still, whether I click on the Icon, or do the right click thing in the blank areas of the Dock, I can't change anything and whenever I try it shuts itself down and gives me the option to send an error report. I understand what beta means, but I figured since all of these people have been working on it that I was safe. If I can get help with this, I'd be very happy, I like the idear of this!

I've that that experience myself... Try getting rid of all your docklets. My best guess is that the problem lies with one of them. As for KK Menu, if you're simply looking for a start menu, a good friend of mine, AndreasV, has made a brilliant one for Object Dock. I use it constantly (that and his Av3 Player)
Anyway, After getting rid of all the docklets (if you're even able to open up OD in the first place) Try putting them back on one by one until you get the error to determain which one is causing you all the trouble.

Well, I don't know what the problem is, wish I could get it all off of my computer, it keeps popping up out of nowhere now. I'm going to wash my system clean this evening, and then, I'm going to play with my taskbar as per some of the directions on virtualplastic.net, and some things my friends know. ahh well, it was a great dream while it lasted!
